From the (unedited) upcoming sequel to Cold Comfort
(which of course is entitled Another Time):
The lift was too damn fast, and soon they’d be at the ground floor. Faro’s head was spinning, desperate to maintain that look in his eyes, that tightness in her abdomen.
Fuck it, she decided. Enough of this.
Holding Thrawn’s stare, Faro nodded as if the decision had already been made. And maybe it had, that assent, that use of her first name as good as evidence before the Court of Justice.
“The Alisandre?” she asked, lifting her chin so their lips were better aligned.
Most of the brass were staying at that hotel, including her. It was a favorite of the high-maintenance officials during their visits to the capital, and notorious for its scandals more than its discretion. If the question shocked or confused him, she’d have her answer about what was going to happen next.
But Thrawn pressed even closer, uniforms converging. Their stacked rank plaques, positioned so evenly on opposing chests, fit into the tight space like puzzle pieces. He lowered lips to her ear, one hand on the wall behind her.
“The Diplomat.”

As you know from my prolific comment(ing) I am reading a particularly (well written) smutty arc of a story written by you. As is your style, the sex is worked in very stylishly with a perfectly plausible reason. Not that any reason in particular needs to justify a perfectly salacious threesome.
I had a flashback to a lucrative side-gig that I used to have (before brain went on strike) one that had me writing commissioned multi act plays chock full of dom/masochistic interplay…and smut. They were performed in SF and Boston. In fact, I got to tour one of the dungeons built for the play. Anyhow, the sad thing was that it was all done under a strict shroud of secrecy for me and for them. We all skittered about in the late, late hours, like cockroaches sheltering in the dark. Two identities, two wardrobes. A duel life
I digress…
In reading through your many stories & comments, I feel like I have gotten to know you well enough to explore this (set) of queries.
If I have read/interpreted, you have conventional family arrangement & often share the comments with your spouse (stop me now if I am way up the wrong tree) Does this mean that it is known that you write smut? Does anybody else outside you household know that you write fiction? (man o golly, love to be at your table talk🤣) is your fic writing an accepted part of who you are?
As I usually try to communicate why I ask questions, I offer that I live in a multi-generation household where if it were known that I was typing these words, it would cause a scene. Hell I had to wait to get the house to myself to watch Our Flag Means Death.
I graciously accept that these may be just (okay more than a bit) over the line queries. Feel free to toss, but I’ll love yah just the same😂 thank you kindly for your time and consideration.

I do often, FYI, try to write porn without plot and tend to fail miserably at it 90% of the time. The plot always creeps in there without mercy, turning my planned 5k one-shots of sexytimes into multi-chapter 15k+ smut backstory/justifications!
I am quite intrigued at your duel life “lucrative side-gig” and it sounds actually like quite a lot of fun! I would have happily attended one of your plays, but I haven’t spent much time in SF or Boston 😊 Kudos to you on being commissioned for such delicious debauchery—it’s a testament to your own skill as an author!

Maybe I should do a sequel...maybe next time Luke requests your services 😈😍 I definitely had a lot of fun dipping my toe into the world of reader inserts and I learned a lot from the reaction to this fic! It gets read pretty regularly (which I love and appreciate!) and more than half the bookmarks on it are private, which suggests some people are still a little hesitant to admit they like reader insert fic (or even in my case, write it!).
There is no shame in wanting to love Luke, my friends! Git you some nekkid Jedi any way you can!
