But Ash bought me volume 18 for me and I find this way cuter than I should
Allen asks for the last donut and Link is like “wth how many have you had??”
And then on the next page they both have a donut. I didn’t notice at first because I was too caught up in “awwww cutie allen with a donut hanging uot of his mouth like a slob bby adorable”. Then I noticed Tim has one too, but if you look I’m pretty sure Link is holding one too (holding it properly, of course. He’s not a barbarian jeez).
Link wanted the donut too so they split it in half and shared it.
Why is that so adorable I don’t even know.Sometimes I don’t relaize that Link really likes sweets and eatings too bc his personality is so strict and hard you wouldn’t expect to like pies and cupcakes.
But he likes donuts andthey split the last donut in half help IT’S NOT THAT BIG A DEAL BUT I CAN’T STOP.
I just LOVE that Link started out so antagonistic but now like THEY’RE FRIENDS. We don’t even hear them arguing about it either–it’s like Allen went to go eat it and Link scoffed all annoyed so Allen gave him half and Link just took it and ugh
the stupidest things fill me with love for this manga and it’s characters. Link slow transition from “Walker you are a potential traitor I am determined to unearth your secrets” to “He casually mentions painful past trauma to me and I trust him enough to tell him about my orphan upbringing and he’s making me doubt my beloved Director” is spectacular. Would Link have shared a donut with Allen when he was first introduced? I doubt it.
I LOVE FRIENDSHIP I LOVE CHARACTERS I LOVE SUBTLE UNDERSTATED FRIENDSHIP MOMENTS AND LITTLE DETAILS BC IT’S GREAT AND I COULD JUST WRITE 100 PAGES ON ONE CHAPTER AND AAAAH *implodes*

oh yeah also these guys went on a stake-out and brought a box of donuts with them. (And Link brought Rouvelier’s Anthology of sweets but that’s another 1,000 words)
