Haven't posted a yoga photo in a while. Here's modified malasana pose using a block. Swipe for cuteness. Tbh I've been slacking doing yoga... Just haven't been making time for it this month. I'm still practicing a couple times per week and stretching but I can feel my body seizing up - it's not happy. I need to make more time even though my schedule is busy. Considering doing a December yoga challenge because sometimes I need a platform to keep myself accountable to stay on track. Arthas is constantly trying to rip down my tapestries Lolol. Anybody know of any donation based or inexpensive yoga studios on the south shore? Ps. Day 12 of September Yoga Challenge. @yoga_girl Today I chose malasana pose because it is new to me and it really corresponds to what is going on in my life right now. This pose involves a lot of balance (I fell 6 seconds after this was taken). Malasana is supposed to make you feel strong and grounded which is exactly what I need right now. I made a humongous life change which is why this pose is so on point. I left my stable well benefitted job to pursue a job that pays less and is less stressful, as well as go back to school to get my masters. Yikes! But I have never felt so okay in my whole life. I had a great employer, great managers... But I was still unhappy there. I'm trusting in the universe and my intuition and it really feels like everything is going to be okay during this scary but necessary transition. Do not be afraid to take a chance or follow your dreams. Always listen to your gut and your heart because they always know best. ♥ After receiving a beautiful magical surprise in the mail from an old friend I did some beautiful magical yoga to the Rain Song and Let it Be.
