One has a zither, one has a mandolin and another is blatantly ignoring firearm safety protocol. Gonna be a wild evening on that porch.

Gertrude Elizabeth (née Blood), Lady Colin Campbell (c.1897). Giovanni Boldini (Italian, 1842-1931). Oil on canvas. National Portrait Gallery, London.
Gertrude Blood married Lord Colin Campbell, in 1881, but separated from him in 1886 after a scandalous case in which he alleged her adultery with four co-respondents. She worked as an art critic, published works, and was admired for her athletic prowess in fencing, swimming and riding. Boldini imparted a special glamour to this alluring sitter by taking liberties with the rules of anatomy.

Offering to Molech, from the illustrators of 1897 Bible Pictures and What They Teach Us, Charles Foster
Caption by Charles Foster:
This is an idol named Molech. A great many people used to pray to this idol. It had the head of a calf, and was made of brass, and it was hollow inside. There was a place in the side to make a fire in it. When it got very hot the wicked people used to put their little children in its arms. The little children were burned to death there. This man in the picture is just going to put a little child in the idol's arms. Other men are blowing on trumpets and beating on drums, and making a great noise, so that no one can hear the poor little child cry.
