Something I think about a lot is that Skybound could have been so good if it weren't for a few things. And honestly the biggest thing to me is NOT ruining Jay's character? It always feels so icky and out of place to see him acting so degrading and frankly misogynistic? Don't get me wrong I'm here for characters having flaws, but this flaw didn't even align with his character. It makes me sad that the only way the writers saw fit to push Jaya forward was to have Jay act like a weirdo creep.

I know that there are other outlying issues with the season but I feel like it would be easier to stomach if they hadn't lumped Jay in with Nadakhan in terms of "being weird regarding Nya because I think I'm entitled to her".

Okay, but also: if you see a Muslim praying in public and they have something in front of them, like a purse or a bag or something like that, you can pass in front of them, but pass in front of that object.

it’s called a sutrah, and it’s meant to act as a physical barrier between the person praying and someone who might happen to pass in front.

Also, if you did this and didn’t know, please don’t beat yourself up over it. Now you know! Muslims aren’t supposed to pass in front of Muslims praying, either, because prayer is communication with God and you don’t want to break that connection.

Spread culture, respect customs, be good people. Simple as that.
