Chronicle of the faces Tomori makes during Yuu's confession:
Kumagami was the one privy to Shun's entire story about the alternate timeline, about why he came back to save his family. Kumagami knew when he walked into the council room that day to announce "collapse" that he was talking about Ayumi.
Nao placing Yuu in the same category as his brother is about the highest praise that anyone anywhere could ever pay Yuu.
As the saying goes, "...I'd have 2 nickels..."
I don't know if this realization is why he starts using an authoritative big brother voice on Yusa a minute later...
...but she kind of reacts the way Ayumi probably would.
This was so funny to me. And the reason why I think Kumagami was the stablest character in the show. He just does what he has to do, even if it means a little humiliation for the sake of other power-users.
After so much pain and fear and shoving all his feelings down so that love and hope couldn't hurt him anymore, he's finally willing to feel love again.
Yuu and Misa have more in common than they appeared at first.
I think Yuu figured that the only way Misa would go see her family would be if Yusa did. Misa's hard and cold. She's dead and she figures everything is over, why try?
So he convinced Yusa to go visit them. And, as he'd hoped, Misa couldn't resist dropping in for just a minute.
Well, I guess that if you're a celebrity and you can't get away from work to be with your family, then you just have to take your work to them- and show them off to the world.
Yuu: "Fanboy's gonna kick my arse...."
I love how he cares so much about people, and wants so much to be with other people all the time, yet doesn't really show it much. Not sure why, tbh. It's clear that he enjoys his little dramatic outbursts and his fanboy drooling, but when it comes to showing concern, he's much more reserved.
Something about that makes him seem more caring, though, I think. He's not afraid in the least to show over-the-top, flamboyant emotion over something like Yusarin's spit (kimoi!) but when it's a deep feeling, like concern or anger, he doesn't let it show as much. Like... idk, how do I put it... Like, "I care very deeply about this person, but I'm not going to draw attention to myself by saying how much I care." That's how I read it, anyway.
I wonder if he likes curry so much in this timeline because some part of him still remembered how much the research facility in the other timeline ruined it.
And what a derp he is right here fjakaruiavpo
