I Spend Way Too Much Time On Turtles

Tbh my favorite switches between Mikey and Leo on a pretty regular basis. I can just project onto Leonardo more lmao (I, for instance, am also madly in love with Usagi Miyamoto)

But Raphael! I adore Raph! I like the way he can be masculine and tough while still showing emotions and doing more traditionally feminine things like knitting (I think he only does this in a short but I’m counting it) I like how much he cares for his brothers and think that his efforts as a protector of sorts often aren’t credited enough. I also really like his dynamic with Leo, especially as the show goes on. Leo and Raph are actually way more alike than they (and a good chunk of the fandom) think. They’re both driven, determined people who have strong, intense emotions. They both are dead set on protecting the people they care for most, and they both love fighting. What makes them argue/drives them apart is those similarities paired with the slight differences in their philosophy! Which makes their relationship (when written well) incredibly interesting!

There’s some other small things too. His accent is cool, the fact that his vehicle of choice is a motorcycle rocks in a very specific way, and I love love love the way he interacts with Traximus, and wish we got more of that in the show.
