In theory this is a very interesting ship, but the fandom has ruined everything. I just hate fanon!Scotland, he's just a rude abusive Mary Sue who is both cold and temperamental and I don't like the way his relationship with England is portrayed. I don’t understand why England is presented as an unfortunate, harmless victim of the “evil” Scotland. It's good that now Scotland has appeared in the canon and it is much better than in fanon. I think Scotland is England's first love, but Scotland doesn't reciprocate his feelings. But I hope that EngScot (I like it that way) will gain more fans, the pairing has potential
