“So let me tell you,” Cody continued, perched on the edge of Rex’s bed. “Having this one—” he jerked a thumb at the Captain “----ASK to be flung at something nearly distracted me from my shot.”
The blonde clone grinned a little, looking much better today than he had.
“ Please , vod. As though you were actually hitting anything. At least I made contact. Though that was partly due to our young friend here.”
The clones all reacted to this insult to Cody, who Luke gathered was the most senior officer among them.
He had quite an impressive scar by his eye but it didn’t stop him from a massive eye roll.
“I was trying to distract the Sith lord so he didn’t kill you all,” he returned dryly. “Oh hey, Skywalker, has Rex here told you just how loud he screamed when your Dad threw him off a cliff?”
“And numerous buildings?” Ponds added helpfully.
“He threw… ” Luke began incredulously.
