Unseen Scenes from The 100 #2: Clarke crashing Murphy’s solo dance party at the Lighthouse

Based on this post and this post because let’s face it, what do you do when you find you’re home alone for the first time in ages? Turn the music up to 11 and dance around in your underwear, of course. After you’ve cleaned yourself up and helped yourself to some clean clothes and all the crackers.

In case you could’t tell, Lighthouse!Murphy is my fave thing right now and I will inevitably be so upset when actual canon S3 Murphy is nowhere near as fun as all the stupid shit I draw him doing if I don’t see him dancing on that snooker table I’m gonna be so disappointed

There’s also a mixtape that I had on repeat while working on this and is full of songs that I can totally see Murphy jamming out to on his own B)

Murphy rubs his neck when he feels attacked, close to breaking or nervous he touches the invisable scars left behind. Dont get comfortable, dont trust anyone, keep his guard up b/c they'll feed him to the wolves if given the chance. He doesnt tell Clarke he stopped flinching when her hands brushed against his neck, his jaw, when they kissed. Doesnt tell her that he places her fingers there now b/c it reminds him that she would never tighten her grip, he leaves hickeys on her neck so they match

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. Especially the Clarphy angst. The actual key to my heart. As strange as it is it’s seriously one of my favorite headcanon’s that Murphy has a weird thing with his neck. I mean why wouldn’t he after what happened? I know Murphy was still just a minor character in season one and just a recurring character in the second season but looking back it sort of bums me out that we never really got to experience or see the trauma/PTSD he was going through from the hanging and being tortured by Grounders.What happened to him isn’t something someone just walks away from. No matter how many walls you’ve built up or how strong your own personal guard is. That’s all stripped away when you’re put into such a vulnerable position. I guess you could say him coming back and killing people at the end of season one could be it? But that was far too cold and calculated in my opinion. You see little things here and there but I’m hoping it’s something they really explore and look at it in season 3.
