Kiss Me Jealous

On a Friday evening after dinner, Murasaki slides his coat onto his shoulders and bends down to tie his boots.

“I’ll be going out now, Nice. I’ll be back very late, or rather early, so don’t wait for me,” he says and grabs his keys. “And go to bed at a reasonable time.”

Nice half sits up from where he’s lounging on the couch and says, “‘Kay, mom.”

Murasaki ignores the comment and is almost out the door when Nice suddenly shouts after him, “Wait, where are you going?”

Happy Birth-tie, a Murani fanfic

It hits Nice on April 4 on his way home.

There’s no actual hitting involved, but when Nice puts on his headphones a song from Torao’s newest album sounds through the speakers. Newest album meant that it was already a year old, though. Nice mourns the absence of new music from his favourite artist for a little while when he realises that it would be exactly one year the next day, in fact.

And that’s when it hits him.
