DOUGLAS, Ariz. -
After seeing an object flying over the border fence Wednesday night, Douglas Station Border Patrol agents seized a bundle of marijuana weighing more than 96 pounds. Agents operating remote video surveillance technology saw an object launched over the border near H Avenue and 1st Street in Douglas. Other agents immediately responded to search the area. Moments later, they found a large cylindrical bundle containing $48,000 worth of marijuana. According to a news release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, agents seized the marijuana, but no arrests have been made at this time.
