As far as I know, in Germany, ships carry the pronouns of what they're named after? So Imperator, a German ship, named for the emperor, would be he/him?

Even if im wrong about germany, ships being exclusively she/her is an American/British thing. Russia for example has lots of he/him ships, like Moskva.

It really shouldn't surprise me so much that 'men are human beings' pisses so many people off considering I myself was steeped far into into radical feminism enough at one time to be like, "Are they really, though?" but it is disappointing to see how the attitude has spread since I pulled myself back out of it.

The dehumanization of men hurts me as a nonbinary transfem person too. It hurts me because many ppl still see me as male, and it hurts me because I see myself as part male. I am a sincere advocate for trans people and trans men are men, but for once, can we not just have a post that says "Let's show men kindness" without a clause that says "Yeah, think of the trans men that are suffering because of this!!" as though that's the only way we can justify treating men as people...

I do know what you're talking about, my post was definitely not meant that way so much as to demonstrate that this is harming pretty much every group of men across the board (and even some people who aren't men, as demonstrated) because I think that's important.
