Friends!!! Friends, gather round. Come close.
It's baby time.
Here's Carbon Copy, who popped out looking just like his mama
And here's Blizzy, gender unknown. They are hiding it in their blood and I have yet to steal any to find out
like a horrible little leucistic pinecone
This one doesn't have a name yet, but he is the (I think) only boy in Wendy's quad of babies. He's so small, and yet he's so much bigger than his siblings. I fear he is consuming their power to grow.
This guy is Corona's son (younger), and his purple is coming in SO GOOD.
He's going to be SO PURPLE as an adult. Normally at this stage they're pretty tealy-blue even in sun. This man heard there were European violets to compete with and thinks he is gonna win.
Here he is with his mama, even in the shade he's porple
Here's Aris' son (who is actually Corona's son (older)), who is not quite as purple as his brother, and certainly not as brave.
Here is he running away with his brother and hiding behind his mama

What is your favorite photo of a bird eating a tasty bug?
EAT A TASTY BUG!
I really love the way that nightjars scoop them out of the air...

This guy (gray catbird) at the open mic night (my front porch) won't stop doing his fucking impressions (american robin, house sparrow, and cardinal)
his impressions are big hits with the crowd (other catbird) though
he tested out some new material (european starling, red-winged blackbird) at the end of his set
happy pride. here’s the link to wikipedias list of birds displaying homosexual behavior
