Anyone ever read a fic that promises Fluff in the tags (multiple times even) and then all it gives you is one sad rage inducing thing after another? Because that just happened to me. And now I’m annoyed and gonna find something to read that will make me feel better

I was watching a video, then went on FB and here to check if I had any messages, just in case, and promptly forgot I was watching something for a good 10 minutes. *shakes head*

Anyone who uses the reversi skin on ao3, did all of your buttons suddenly turn white? I can't check with my laptop to see if it's something that's changed from there but it was normal on my Kindle this morning. Then about an hour ago I clicked a new fic and all the buttons are bigger and white. Just wondering if I'm the only one and whether there is a quick fix...

I'm only up so late because I was finishing the last couple chapters of a fic. One that I hadn't finished before because I'd been reading it as a WIP. Only now I wish I never had because the epilogue was so upsetting. Why make so fluffy and then break your characters up in the epilogue?

I was in charge of Thanksgiving dinner this year

My mom had to work overtime, so she wasn’t going to be home until 10:30 or so in the morning. Which meant it was up to me to get the turkey in the oven.

I’d been crazy excited about it until that morning. Not gonna lie, I was very frustrated when I couldn’t figure out how to get the legs out of the plastic holder in order to get the neck out. Then I couldn’t find the giblets. That was when the tears started.

But both my friend and my sister helped me out with that one and I finally found those. And, well, once the turkey was in the oven I felt a lot better. It turned out awesome! The photo is a bit blurry, but it was all golden brown and even the white meat wasn’t at all dry. :)

Found the notebook I was looking for! And it has more written in it than I remembered writing. BUT, there’s a page or two missing from the first scene. IDK if I wrote that in a different notebook or if the pages were torn out.

I’ll look through my other notebooks again now that I know what I’m looking for. But I can still type up all the stuff in this one. I’m excited!!

Had my post-op appointment today and did okay this week. :D Yay, no more restrictions! I have missed soda pop. SO MUCH. *clings* And straws. Although, I’ll be keeping away from straws for a bit longer because my mouth is still a bit sensitive. BUT I CAN USE THEM IF I WANT.

I’m very excited, it’s been a long week lol. But no infections or anything. :D Still sore and everything, but I’m getting used to chewing real food again. And have to get used to how my mouth/teeth rest now that I’m missing those back ones, heh.

Got my wisdom teeth out yesterday and everything turned out fine!

My mom was able to take me, which was awesome. My sister was going to originally but mom got off work on time. It’s just nice to have your mom there when it’s something new and scary, you know?

The staff were all incredibly nice and made me feel a lot better before we even got started. Explained everything to me. Had to watch a video, but then one of the women explained it all in a way that was a little less scary. She got her’s done without the general anesthesia and said if she could go back she would change that. I was worried about going under because my family have bad reactions to it. But honestly, I didn’t even notice! I thought it all took about 3 seconds LOL.

Woke up crying because apparently I get emotional - and also I thought there was something in my throat when really it was just the way the numbness was affecting my mouth.

Mom got me 2 frosties on the way home. I wasn’t really loopy. I had to be careful walking, but I didn’t end up doing more than just take little 20 minute naps in between watching tv with my family. :) They’ve all been taking really good care of me.

Thank you to everybody who was thinking of me. :D I think that really helped a LOT!

Getting my wisdom teeth out today and I'm a little(a lot) freaked out. Wish me good luck?

My mom wants to name the possum that keeps sneaking into the house Clyde. IDK if it’s a Bonnie&Clyde thing or a ghost from Pac Man thing...

I’m pretty shallow. My main problems with the new update on the Silk browser are 1) they changed the tabs to a bright color that hurts my eyes. The black from before was perfect. Also they take up more space. 2) They changed the button for Reading View. Used to be green and big. Easy to see and press. Now it’s teeny tiny and takes a couple tries to work. 3) They changed the font /in/ the Reading View. The letters are smooshed together, there’s barely any spacing between the lines. It’s like reading blocks of texts. You know like in fic where the author doesn’t add spaces between paragraphs or dialogue? Yeah, like that.

Do you ever just feel disgusted by your family while wondering how you came from them?

Grilled cheese is a good breakfast, right? heh. I think that’s what I’ll end up making soon...

I got great presents for my bday this year (way more than I expected, holy moly). But I think this one might be my favorite. Now I can stop borrowing my sister’s brush. And it’s Elsa! :D

Randomly thought about how I haven’t customized the icons on my desktop. Decided it sounded like a good idea only to remember I only had the icons I used downloaded to my last laptop. So I figured I’d google, but the Supernatural icons I use to have are no longer available for downloading. *cries* And I can’t find any more, and not even one Teen Wolf one. So bummed right now. I’d have had them on my last external hard drive had it not decided to become a brick. :|

Just spent all evening reading a fic that in the end, I just couldn’t make heads or tails of. Hate when I can’t figure out the subtext or whatever and I just end up confused as hell as to why anything that happened, happened.
