tbh the best way that i explain to other people what it feels like to live with an anxiety disorder is the one time when i had to get a fingerprint and background check done for a job and i, someone who has never received so much as a speeding ticket my whole life, spent thirty minutes panicking that i would fail because i might secretly be a criminal and have no idea

You know what I’d love to see? For sheriff to be the one who exposes Theo to everyone. It would be really beautiful if this moment^^ is sheriff playing Theo right back as Theo is playing him because he remembered what Stiles said about Theo being shady and he decides to trust his son’s instincts.

He only needs to see Stiles’ shoulder for everything to click into place.

Parrish and the key card to the cellblock in Sheriff’s hand? Symbolism. Parrish did shady things, but he is a good guy.

When Theo’s telling his story, there’s a moment when the Sheriff breaks eye contact. Theo says he called 911, but by the time the deputy got there the body was gone, even the blood, everything was just gone. At that, the Sheriff’s brow sort of furrows and he looks down, eyes flickering right and left. Maybe it’s just me, but that’s the exact same thing I do when I’m listening to something and catch a problem or inconsistency. It’s the “wait, no…” expression.

Because according to Theo’s story, Donovan’s body disappeared at the same time that someone broke into the animal clinic for Tracy. Not a problem if there’s more than one person taking the bodies, but by the end of the episode the Sheriff knows it’s just Parrish and Theo’s sob story starts to fall apart.
