Day 6:  Favorite Book.  

Unfortunately, this one was a little rough and rushed (and tough to pick).  I'd have to say the Narnia books, though I don't remember many details, were/are some of my favorite books.  I'm not sure which book you could say this is from, but it's something my mind's eye says was in one of the books somewhere.

Day 5:  Best Friend

A tricky one.  I don't really like the idea of picking a best friend, so this one's slightly clichéd.  That's (supposed to be) me and my dog/puppy Abbie. :)  

Day 4:  Favorite Place

So, I'm finally back from vacation, back home, then back at school, then back with a camera/actual way to make posts.  Thusly, I'm a little behind on the 30 day challenge.  But here's my day 4 post, which, is the mountains.  This is where my dad, my twin brother and my sister had our small vacation (with also a few other awesome people - my dad's childhood friend and my sister's fiance. :) ) And by 'the mountains' I really mean this sort of nostalgic backdrop many of my past vacations with the siblings were placed on, with Vogle State Park being a particularly hot spot, near lots of mountain streams and woodlands.  There's also a bonus squirrel sketch.  There are lots of them there. 

Day 3: Favorite Food

This sketch is subpar.  And it really doesn't communicate how much I like blackberries...or that that is in fact a blackberry. :/   But blackberries remind me a lot of childhood, summertime, and home.  And they're delicious.  So as hard as it was to pick the food that rules all foods, I think for me this one's pretty correct.

I'll also be away from the computer for a while, so several of my 30 day challenge posts will be done but not posted 'til I return.  Until then!

Day 2:  Favorite Animal

Bunnies.

Okay, I promise these won't all be like this.  I'm not really sure why this one is like it is.  It's kind of related to something I drew on my twin brother's dry-erase board when he went off to school one year.  

So, I really like rabbits, but people don't really know the secret dark side of many rabbits.  They're actually so hardcore, you don't even know they're hardcore.  

Yeuh.

Day 1:  Yourself.  

So I haven't done a self-portrait in a while.  Admittedly, this was done from a photo, but I just hate looking in a mirror for that long.  That sounds weird, but it's just a pet peeve.  :P  

There are 'trees' in the background - they're modeled after the 'skyline' of some Southern Pines from this picture I really love.  It reminds me so much of home for some reason.  There's sort of this sun-burnt warmth to it.  

Heck, I'll post that picture, too.
