Silco and Vander probably believed they were both honoring Felicia. Silco kept fighting for Zaun, becoming more extremist in his attempts at freedom and independence, and Vander stopped fighting for Zaun but instead took in Felicia’s kids to raise and protect. Felicia wanted freedom for Zaun for her kids. Silco attached to the Zaun part. Vander attached to the kids part.

look jayce was obviously having a mental breakdown in some regard after being stuck in a magic dimension or smth for a year and smth was telling him to do that. after defending jinx’s mental breakdown in season 1 i gotta give jayce the same treatment its only fair. i am devastated by what happened but jayce while jayce was rhe cause, i cant fully blame him either

Jinx and Viktor have always been my favorite characters, but there is something in particular that I find so intriguing about their juxtaposition.

Jinx - She is Arcane-coded. Blue hair and eyes, the same blue as the Arcane. Heimerdinger describes the Arcane as “dangerous. A force of nature, science cannot control it.” This is a similar principle that people have about Jinx as well. Power and control. She first comes into contact with the Arcane as a child. Grew up to be around Shimmer. then when she is dying, she is given Shimmer to survive, changing her but keeping her alive. She has become the devil in people’s eyes. A face to place all evil in the world. Arcane, changed by Shimmer.

Viktor - He is Shimmer-coded. He is associated with purple the same way Jinx is associated with Blue. When Silco first talks about Shimmer, he talks about how power is for those who will do anything to achieve it. The ambition in his words surrounding Shimmer, the way people like Huck used to have their own power. Viktor’s arc in season 1 is about progress, power in making change, and he understands Singed when he says that people sacrifice love and legacy for progress. Vikto first came in contact with, what I imagine to be, a beta version of Shimmer. Then switched to working with the Arcane. When his life was at stake, Jayce used the Arcane to save his life. Shimmer, changed by the Arcane.

Jinx and Viktor were both supposed to die. Both have become a combination of Shimmer and the Arcane in their experiences and worldview. Both have been changed by it. Both are engineering geniuses from the Undercity, one became the devil in Piltover’s eyes, and one became the savior in the Undercity’s.

The first part of Arcane dropped and the way people keep saying “Oh the enforcers dont know the first thing about fighting in the lanes” is so funny bc its so true. Marcus tries having a guy on the inside and he’s dead. Caitlyn goes down alone with a guide and she doesnt know tit from tat.

Season 2 drops and Caitlyn STILL doesnt know the way things go in the undercity. She thinks she has an unbeatable advantage by poisoning the undercity and control people, and jinx just decided fine lets get rid of the advantage. Boom.
