The infamous “Killing Spree” with the audio mistake.

On live at 5, Theo Stockman explained that not only did “Hey Pretty Sailor” get thunderous applause that threw Ben off beat but multiple tracks were playing at the same time and I think Theo described them as “old versions of the song”. Actors have their dialogue played over and whenever the crowd is applauding, Benjamin Walker is just standing there shrugging while the ensemble is still side stepping and going at it. They picked it up by the end. You can hear someone say “go ahead” when the music pauses for a moment (I thought I saw Ben say it to the mixer but I was also told that the conductor yelled at it Ben because they weren’t going to stop so who knows).

The number ended with so much applause Ben held the chainsaw in the air and made crazy faces at the audience of quite a bit of time. (I left the appluase in because it was literally wild).  This man deserves a freaking Tony.

im not trying to "pit two bad bitches against eachother" i am trying to end historical revisionism. oh you saw how cute Clifford was as a tiny red baby puppy? but you dont like him so you replaced him with the more memeable dog? yeah okay. thats because you love stolen valour. tiktokers are not more important than the truth so heres some facts clifford was the SMALLEST puppy and love made him GROW. clifford was small enough to float on soap True but Snoopy was never that little enough. unless it was the biggest soap ever. well hers the truth i like clifford more. and just because the internet perfers snopy will. never stop me from being my BRAVE! self.

I will say this. Much as fandom exchanges get pretty stressful for me down to the wire I do miss the golden era of dps fandom when there was a secret Santa exchange EVERY year and then Anna and I started organizing fic exchanges at different times in the year……it was a tiny fandom but we were producing the WORK I’ve never been a part of a fandom community like that before or since

Every few years there’s a resurgence of Dead Poets Society fandom on here from a new crop of teens that all got obsessed with the movie and it charms me so so much

Except this latest batch is confusing me in how they do fandom because I just saw a post from someone asking for recs “because there’s NO dps fic out there, I found a couple on wattpad but they were mid”

Does the new dps fandom not know about ao3…………
