We had a very eventful session last week!
Our party, in taking their ship out on her maiden voyage, started getting used to life on the open seas. A few days in to their voyage, they were beset by a pack of harpies who tried to carry away some of the crewmembers. During the course of the fight, the bard came in clutch with countercharm, which allowed the rest of the party to mostly shrug off the paralyzing effects of the harpies’ siren song. The druid called lightning, which fried some of the harpies but also hit the flame wizard and the monk! The flame wizard fell to a harpy’s deadly talon slash, then was revived by the bard and immediately fell again to the lightning strike. After being revived a second time, the flame wizard lashed out with burning hands at the dire harpy, thus ending the combat round and the session. But his explosive outburst might lead to unexpected consequences......
