i'd love to hear more abt your radiostaticmoth (MOTHMEDIA???) dynamic!!! i think it's so interesting how the fandom unanimously decided that bc Val is very sexual, he and Alastor wouldn't get along, but in reality they have so much in common and their personalities are so compatible???? i can imagine them gossiping and giggling over lunch LOOOL

HI NICO ILY AND OH BOY DO I HAVE THOUGHTS ABOUT THESE THREE. in pairs, i've said practically everything i have to say about radiostatic and staticmoth, but adding that potential valastor dynamic into the mix—AH. now we're fucking cooking. they both have these really catty, bitchy attitudes that makes it clear that vox has a type (+ velvette too) and that type is high maintenance, violent freaks that need constant attention or they'll die. i like to imagine a post-radiostatic reconciliation situation where vox is the hinge for a while, and there's some friction at first because neither alastor nor val like to share, but if there's one thing they love more than themselves, it's riling up vox. once alastor realizes that val is capable of making vox crazy in ways that he can't (and vice versa), it's literally all over for vox. you thought having one psycho boyfriend throwing shot glasses at your head and wasting all your money was annoying? your ass is COOKED.

also, as boundary-pushing and cloying as val can be, he's clearly manipulative and clever enough to have kept that little tidbit about alastor being back from vox for a full week, dropping it at the most opportune moment to make vox lose his shit, and i think alastor would be deeply rattled by the realization that val isn't an idiot, just hotheaded, and is more than capable of handling alastor without him noticing right away. val picks up really quickly on insecurities and weaknesses, and i can absolutely envision a situation where he flippantly but very intentionally sidesteps one of alastor's minefields, and alastor doesn't even realize until afterward that val navigated his triggers for no discernible reason and has to break some things to cope with the weird messy emotions that gives him

and. please picture for me val leaving alastor a million voicemails every day detailing all of his new rancid film ideas, and alastor ignores him at first, until one day val gets a huge audio file in his email that's just a three hour long scathing (but weirdly constructive) criticism of his writing, proving that alastor listened to every single one and TOOK NOTES. he'd be head over heels. all three of them collaborate on skits together and it only ends in flames and murder like three or four times, that's a record!!

alastor and val do clash over the sex thing, but literally not in the way you'd expect. alastor is a FREAK freak, he's only into sex if insane unsafe kink is involved, but valentino only likes that stuff in theory, as part of his very important Creative Vision in the studio—he's shockingly vanilla in bed. he's definitely a massive hypocrite in this bc he makes angel film waterboarding scenes for hours on end and then gets pissy if vox's teeth nick him at all, because he's a brat who wants to be ROMANCED, dammit, but alastor genuinely hates that fluffy feelsy shit. it's a good thing vox needs a healthy dose of both, because Oh Boy are they still demanding mfs.

lastly. and most importantly. four arms + ten feet tall + no self preservation instinct = radio demon bridal carry. everyone is delighted about this except for alastor. order of operations goes velvette carried by alastor carried by valentino carried by vox. ignore vox's whining he loves it
