Wow, I was so focused on my broken heart and Crosshair's shaking hands that I totally forgot to acknowledge the canonity (canonism? idk) of SPACE CHICCY NUGGIES
OMEGA LITERALLY HAS SPACE CHICKEN NUGGETS IN HER LUNCHBOX AND FEEDS THEM TO HER DOG LIKE IS SHE THE PUREST SOUL OR WHAT?!
It's funny because s2 of The Bad Batch gives us "UwU Omega is an angel who wants to help and everything is bright and sunny!" and like ten minutes later we see the episode's antagonist being carried off by space spiders screaming-
If I may please direct your attention to Omeega's lil smile when Tech declares he'll be the racer-
"I PACKED IT FULL OF THE SHINY STUFF!!!"
I love to think that Big Brother TM Crosshair goes trick or treating with Omega and, against his will, wears a matching costume with her (an idea brought to my mind by the great @s-pirth-lemonade) and he has the biggest frown on his face the whole time.
It isn't until he's able to start scaring some of the older kids (he wouldn't scare the younger kids - he's not a monster) that he manages to start smiling.
His heart is truly taken when Omega reaches into her bag of candy and pulls out one of Crosshair's favorites. She gives it to him before they move onto the next house, and though Crosshair wonders how she knew he'd like that one in particular, he manages to enjoy the night a bit more.
As for Omega's insight, all she had to do was ask Wrecker what candy Crosshair liked.
