Literally no one asked but just for the record no I am still not over how Jon’s fatal flaw was that he never knew when to concede and stop asking questions and then his last words in tma were “no [im not sure] but I love you” letting love take precedent over knowledge and logic and giving in bc he loves Martin

Still not over Martin’s entire arc being about his self hatred and isolation and then his last words in tma being “I love you too” not just a statement of love but a statement of reciprocated love

They both fundamentally changed for the better and that mattered—it may not have been perfect and it may not have been enough to save them from the narrative but it still mattered. I am utterly feral. I am so normal.

Odd take perhaps, but I find the fact Martin and Jon never met in the TMAGP universe… more sweet, in a sense?

The Jon and Martin we knew, who loved each other, who bickered, and hurt each other, and helped heal each other all the same, they weren’t drawn together by some string of fate, not destined to be together in every universe. No. They just happened to fall in love. It didn’t change anything, and it certainly didn’t save the world, but it was there.

Maybe TMAGP Jon and Martin never met, maybe they died long before they ever could, but it’s oddly beautiful in a sense for the two we are familiar with. It makes their story, how they came to truly care for one another, feel more real. I actually think it would be more tragic if it was some destined thing, because it takes away from them what’s most important in TMA — choice. The choice to stick together through it all and to love one another dearly, even if it’s hard sometimes.

“Do you think we love each other in every universe?”, but the answer is no, and maybe, just maybe, that’s sweeter than any yes could ever be.

why does everybody keep de-sillyfying peter lukas wtf. it's so important that he's the only true, fully committed lonely avatar we meet, and yet he is so cheerful at all times. he's not shy either. he's extremely talkative, but only when he gets to decide the topic of conversation. he enjoys being disliked and purposefully makes social situations uncomfortable.

i feel like a lot of the fanon interpretations of him i've seen depict him more as a victim of the lonely, rather than an avatar of it. and i simply do not agree.

Also there’s the times where he says or does things that seem like jokes but he does / says them in complete seriousness. Like when he described Jon as “A grubby Jesus” and his interaction with Martin where he simply does not understand how to read a spreadsheet.

Gertrude has all the plans to stop certain avatars using fire or other methods, yet all it too for his plan to be stopped was his name in the newspaper.

I feel like he’s the embodiment of the phrase “I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed” and he knows it

oh my god. i fucking forgot that distracting elias was a genuine method of making sure he doesn't spy on you. give him really complicated paperwork to make sure he doesn't use his eldritch monster powers. "don't worry guys i have a plan. [throws budgeting plans into the next room] GO FETCH"

he gets really comically excited about the most boring tasks in the world. starts spinning around in his chair and giggling happily like omg yay :3 i love this job so much ^_^ i can't wait to do what i've been doing for 200 years now: meaningless corporate nonsense!!

tim walks in on him once and immediately starts a scientific study on this because what the fuck. there's no way he actually enjoys this...right?

he experiments by trying to take over a few tasks for him like "don't worry boss i'll handle that" and elias is immediately like "NO !!!!! my paperwork >:("
