I'm a transfem who needs a bit of monetary assistance.

I spent a bit too much money helping my friends with their various situations and found myself in an almost $4k pickle. I've been chipping away at it over the past few months and got it down about halfway.

some more thoughts:

it feels surreal to watch another social media rise and fall, and it sucks especially that for me twitter was the best platform for business that I've ever had.

I do miss the simplicity of the days when tumblr was the "main platform" for a lot of artists. At this point I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket, so I'll probably use bluesky, tumblr, and yes, even twitter, for some time still. I hope bluesky sticks for a lot of people, as it would be nice to have a twitter replacement and I much prefer it (especially for my mental health).

...and, big shoutout to my patrons over the past few months especially, as I've been really ill with a gastrointestinal disorder that's set me back in all my work and has had me very low energy at times. Looks like I might finally be taking a turn for the better (?) but I think I might have to do some more rounds of treatment even then. People in my patreon discord have gotten the play by play but it's really beeen an ordreal! And I hope I can find some sort of balance soon. Never realized how much it sucks not being able to digest food until I couldn't digest food.
