Came back for a v sad reason, one of the oldest friends i’ve had on social media who i met via here i think on the la dispute tag and in general passed away over the weekend in a car accident and along with everyone else who knew her am kind of a wreck right now, anyway rip Sarah you’ll be in everyone’s hearts forever, your favorite brand new song was not the sun and now you are the sun
In honor of it being Sound and Fury weekend, here are a few film shots I took of Tigers Jaw during Sound and Fury 2010. The fest got shut down and someone was kind enough to let the remaining few bands play in their backyard, which also ended up getting shut down (I think during Bracewar). This was truly one of the craziest and most memorable shows I’ve ever attended. I was 20 years old and got to see the entire country with some of my closest friends (TJ toured out to the fest from Pittsburgh). This was also my very first time in California, and it’s crazy to think it’s the place I now call home.
Haven’t used this thing before sleater kinney roadtrip (more on that probably tomorrow) but here’s a early draft of top ten records of 2016, will likely not change unless waxa, tigers jaw, hop along, cayetana etc do a record this year which probs won’t happen, you should buy all these ok cool, ps only came so low because “technically “ it’s not a new record but i do what i want and Katie has to make it in every year
after the triple sleater run ends this will be me tbh , i prefer this show to portlandia for the most part in terms of her acting
