Now that I know what happens in Into The Pit, I've come up with a new horrible ship that would only serve to make everything worse for everybody else.
Inside you there are two wolves. Actually there is one wolf, and he's not going back inside.
Finally watched Mean Girls this week and realized October 3rd was coming right up, so I knew I had to do something for it. Not only that, but I think the movie came out in 2004, making this the 20th Mean Girls Day. That's very fetch.
The Klutzy Koop - Yowser
I bring you another Mario OC. Yowser is a Koopa that Bowser hired hoping his dangerous clumsiness could stop Mario, so he'd be a recurring boss fight.
Every time he's fought, he's got a different gimmick, whether that's through the use of obstacles in the boss fight arena or weapons he wields against you. You have to dodge the ensuing chaos until he manages to clumsily stun himself using said gimmick—with his horns and spikes, him being temporarily stunned is the only time his weak spot, his long tail, is still and vulnerable.
I was imagining him specifically as a boss for 2d platformers, but I think the idea of turning his attempted attacks around on him could lend itself well to a boss fight in a Paper Mario or Mario & Luigi game.
Of course, eventually it might stop being believable that Bowser would keep him around. Maybe at that point he could get fired and move to Diamond City or something; I think he'd fit in with the wacky hijinks of the WarioWare games.
Ginny Goof
I've been watching Goof Troop recently and naturally started wondering what Max's mom might have been like. Turns out that the book 'Goofy Minds the House' gave Goofy a wife in a historical setting with a Max-ish version of Goofy Jr, and Goof Troop concept art had a 'Mrs. Goofy,' so I based her on those. It'd definitely be a different version of the show if they were a more nuclear family, and to be honest I think it was for the best. The family just being Goofy, Max, and their cat puts a lot more focus on the father/son relationship. If that hadn't been such a focal point in the show, we may never have wound up getting A Goofy Movie to explore it in further depth. That's why I tried to design and think about Max's mom posthumously, with her being someone that a lot of current characters would have had a connection to in the past but it's been so long that they've mostly moved on since her death. And I just thought Ginny Goof had a catchy enough sound to it to make a good name.
Just something fun to prevent us from going insane.
They created a candy alligator that feels tailor-made to me, wow!
Detective Rye
Here's a character idea I've had kicking around my head for a while but never got a design for until now. I think the association between murder mysteries and a detective that's undead has fun potential, and Mario's Dry Bones offer a good way to do that.
Me when the people in my computer keep booping me
This is an invitation to continue.
Muzzadog cast HEAL PRAYER!
Decided it could be fun to draw Muzzadog as Ralsei from Deltarune, since he's a pleasant character. I was right; it was fun.
Hourly Comic Day 2024:
I told myself since I had Muzzadog as a way to draw myself now I'd finally do Hourly Comic Day and then I forgot. So I drew this instead.
I recently finished playing Undertale Yellow, and it made me want to try my hand at designing my own versions of the unseen fallen children, and get some pixel art practice in as well.
To commemorate 2024 being the Year of the Dragon, I turned Muzzadog into one.
Or, in other words, here's my new dragon fursona I guess.
If Level-5 won't put Marina in New World of Steam I'll do it myself.
Been playing through the first Sly Cooper and saw lots of potential for fan characters with a lineage full of raccoon thieves. But I also thought "You know, I think if I were in charge of this franchise I'd make it a bit of an anthology series, where different games jump forwards in time to new members of the Cooper Clan, with new techniques having been added to the Thievius Raccoonus since the previous games."
So, following that idea, I decided my first Sly Cooper OC should be not an ancestor of Sly, but one of his descendants. I.T. Cooper lives in a high-tech future, probably at least 150 years after Sly, and uses two main pieces of technology to perform heists: his cane, made up of two handles that project a hard-light hook shape and can connect to each other at any length, and his future version of the Binocucom, a headset that lets him zoom hid vision in on faraway objects, as well as scanning his eyes to display his expression on the black screen.
I imagine one possible story for him could be in a hypothetical sequel to Thieves in Time, where Sly manages to travel forward again but goes too far, winding up in the future and meeting I.T. there. He'd sort of wind up in the same position his ancestors just were, meeting their own descendants, and I.T. would find himself in a Back-to-the-Future situation where if he doesn't help Sly get back to his own time, he'll never be able to be born and will cease to exist. Because of this, I can imagine him not being very cooperative at the beginning of his story; maybe he wants to work solely on his own merit, and working with Sly helps him open up to the idea of accepting his past family's help through use of the Thievius Raccoonus' techniques.
