hjdkkjdkk no but. imagine. han solo. just got captured. about to be turned into a hansicle. then the iconic scene with leia, only this time han confesses to leia and this somehow summons the carbonite and he is frozen. the scene is incredibly heartfelt and dramatic, leia is heartbroken. then she joins up with luke and chewie and just says that hans gone and thats it. they continue with their mission, but they never fucking mention han again, except to say something like “its what he would have wanted”. chewie leaves at some point. its only luke and leia and this random ewok they found. leia says they need to go on this one random mission bc they never retired even though they won the galactic war. a fucking… idk,,, surviving stormtrooper manages to shoot leia in a place that definitely shoudnt kill her, but it kinda does and luke just. lets her die. leia turns into a force ghost, obi wan is there to greet her. he kinda implies that han is hanging out somewhere in the force, too. apparently it was super possible to get him out of the carbonite lmao? who knew? but leia just takes her x-wing and bops around in the force for 40 years until luke dies and joins her. she doesnt look for han once.
