As a latina it's shameful seeing what happened, people climbing up walls, the stampede where kids are present, climbing up the ventilation system etc.
We will love to blame it on the country and it's organisation but really its the fans fault for being impatient and having no culture.
Disgusting behavior from these fans. The fact that I’m from Miami makes feel embarrassed and angry. You can blame security but this is 90% the people’s fault. The Copa has been fine up until now. Everyone was civil entering the other stadiums, why now?
It hurts because there’s families with kids trying to enjoy the game and now these kids are traumatized. I’m honestly lost for words.
And Miami needs to do better. They’re a disgrace. Knowing how this is basically a soccer mega city, security should have tripled.
It’s going to get worse depending on who wins.
