Something something Kayne and John. Something something the narrative and the narrator
I think it's fun looking at other people's Kayne designs because they usually make him a bit more lanky and tall (valid) which is funny to me because I headcanon him as a short king. Idk it's interesting
Anyone else think if that Owlexander and Scratch are Lillith (which they probably are) then Kayne's 100% responsible for fracturing her? Like we know he can fracture gods and considering the fact she's canonically around his power level I'm wouldn't be surprised if Kayne "KILLED VERY OTHER VERISON OF MYSELF" Malevolent got paranoid about getting overthrown and fragmented her
SO <3 I RELISTENED TO SOME OF KAYNE'S SCENES <3 [Part 47 "The Hand" and Part 20 "The King" + Intermezzo]
Anyone smarter than me want to start theorising about Horig's possible connections to Kayne? Orrrr
Hey Arkayners, how do we feel about Kayne comparing Arthur to the Blackstone (something they deeply desire but can never have)
I love kayne malevolent so much. I wish transsexual people were real
I feel like we don't talk enough about how Kayne basically said Arthur stole the KIY's heart-
John's he/him (transmasc) while Kayne's he/him (transfem) btw if you even care
The thing I find fascinating about Kayne is how they're positioned as above both humans and other elder gods. It's just so interesting that they're so off-putting and incomprehensibly powerful that even other mind melting, elder gods find them hard to understand. I don't know, I think it's just the fact that a lot of the appeal of Lovecraftian entities is that they have this "impossible to fully understand or comprehend because they're just THAT powerful" quality to them and it's just interesting that Kayne's basically a little like that but for other gods (i know we haven't seen many other gods but the way that Kayne talks to John and essentially says he's dispensable ["Listen, Goldie, I'll do worse to you. Just because I can!"] IS SO INTERESTING TO ME??)
I just think they're friends
I find the way kayne describes having to kill his own former self to become "Kayne" to be similar to a snake. In the sense that she's always sheding her different skins but I guess to do that she has to kill who she was(🏳️⚧️). And like. IDK that's so interesting because I've noticed he seems to have a whole thing about giving people amnesia so those people can fuck around and rediscover or invent themselves so I'm like 🤔🤔 idk if he's given himself amnesia (although thats a fun hc or angsty idea) but he definitely has a thing about like. Becoming new and reinventing/rediscovering yourself if that makes sense
Catchy, isn't it?
