This rioter thought he could take on a kid with an AR rifle, using his pistol. He was wrong. Lucky for him he was only shot in the arm. The guy who attacked the kid with a skateboard, as he was running from the mob, got shot in the chest. Another rioter, who tried to attack the kid with the AR, got shot in the head. In an ironic twist other looters and rioters stood over their dead comrades and screamed and cried for the police. Seriously.

Word to the wise; If you're going to play at being an anarchist and feel compelled to go out and attack and destroy, don't cry and call for the police when you and your shit head friends get shot in the face.

Joseph Rosenbaum (top-L) was the 1st shot, after chasing & throwing items at Kyle Rittenhouse. Joseph had been a registered sex offender (sexual assault of a minor). He had an open case for bail-jumping related to battery, disorderly conduct & domestic abuse.

Anthony Huber (top-R) was the 2nd shot, after he beat Kyle with a skateboard. Anthony’s criminal history included 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety, use of a dangerous weapon, domestic abuse, strangulation & suffocation, false imprisonment, battery, disorderly conduct, & possession of drug paraphernalia.

Gaige Grosskreutz (bottom-L) was the 3rd shot, after he pulled his own gun on Kyle. Gaige has a criminal history that includes being armed while intoxicated.

The three of them were protesting the non-fatal shooting of Jacob Blake (bottom-R), who resisted police and threatened them with a knife after they attempted to take him into custody for violation a protection order related to a sexual assault case last month.

Past crimes don’t justify a shooting. Keep it to the facts of the events for judgement on self defense or murder.

Including them is to influence the audience, which is dishonest. You don’t need to resort to it, the incriminated themselves enough

It’s not about justifying the shooting for past crimes, Key. It’s to make sure they don’t get to pretend that they was just good boys who never did nothin’ wrong and were just there holding up signs for good things against bad people.

Because what inevitably is going to happen is they’re going to call Kyle a deranged white supremacist mass shooter, moan about underaged shooters and “that damned AR-15 again,” moan about how there was NO REASON for him to be there and armed when he should’ve been exposed to the A.) pistol B.) skateboard C.) Malatov cocktail thrown at him for defending properties they were burning down or attacking, without a gun.

That gets lost in the retelling, which will gladly omit the protesters were not peaceful, they were breaking and vandalizing shit on purpose, and they’ll make it out like Kyle just showed up to randomly spray bullets in the crowd. “Like those types do.”

Give them a chance and they’ll just make that kid out to be another Dylan Roof or whats-his-name from Sandy Hook.

Honestly, if the left is going to look into Kyle’s past to demonize him, then turnabout is fair play.

And I already see people doing exactly what Rame described. One moron on Reddit says ‘we don’t know what happened’ while simultaneously claiming Kyle started the fight by “showing up heavily armed” with “stated intent to be a vigilante”. And claiming the molotov as “disinformation”.

They banned it because by the mid 90s nearly ten percent of gay and bi men in the US were dead, and nearly another ten percent were infected. Even now they are the highest risk group in much of the world.

Thousands of people contracted HIV through blood transfusions. These days it is something that happens rarely precisely because they have restrictions on donations. 

Even with testing there’s still the possibility of the person having contracted the virus but not yet testing positive, the window for this is *gasp* about three months.

When Kyle Johns, 19, headed out on February 23 to party with a friend in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, he had no idea his night would end in the emergency room, getting staples in his scalp.

As he walked down China Town Mall in the early hours of Sunday morning, he was suddenly approached by Jazzmin Fry, a complete stranger out celebrating her 21st birthday.

In a video recorded by a bystander, Ms Fry is seen approaching Mr Johns, as he retreats and tries to get away from her.

“This girl was looking for a fight,” Mr Johns tells news.com.au. “Thankfully someone who was watching recorded the video so you can see clearly that we walked away.

“She pursued us. You can hear her shouting, ‘Want my f***ing heel in your eyeball?’”

Mr Fry then stabbed Mr Johns in the head with her heel, leaving him bloodied and fearing for his life, before shouting: “Not so funny now, is it you c**t”.

“I thought she was going to kill me,” Mr Johns says. “I was covered in bruises; my head, forehead and stomach.”

Mr Johns’ mother, Susan Johns, was at home asleep when she got the call every parent dreads.

“Kyle’s been attacked, he’s laying on the ground in a pool of blood,” said the voice on the other end of the phone.

Panicked, Ms Johns asked if her son was conscious and was told “barely”. After agreeing to meet her son and his friend in the emergency room, Susan jumped in her car, completing the 45-minute trip to Royal Brisbane Hospital in 30 minutes.

“I was filled with fear,” she says. “I kept thinking, ‘Oh my god, my son is dead’. As I arrived a female ambulance office said, ‘I need you to take a minute, it looks really bad … but he’s OK. There’s a lot of blood so just prepare yourself’.

“When I saw him my heart lurched. I couldn’t even feel my legs. I’m a single mum; it’s been just me and Kyle his whole life. We’re very close, there’s a special bond.

“He was a real mess. I just kept thinking, ‘Who could do this to my child?’ His hair was saturated and his shirt was covered in blood.”

Emergency room doctors stapled Mr Johns’ scalp back together and he was allowed to return home with his mother.

Last week, Ms Fry pleaded guilty to assault and a magistrate imposed a $250 fine with no conviction recorded.

It’s a result that has upset Mr Johns, who feels like the punishment would have been far more severe if it was him who had attacked a woman.

“I was in a lot of pain but now that’s healed I feel really let down with the justice system,” he says. “The scales of justice certainly swung in the woman’s favour — I didn’t receive full justice.

“If this was the other way around — a man had attacked a woman — I’d be in jail. The system’s a joke and I feel very let down.”

Ms Johns is similarly unimpressed with the punishment her son’s attacker received.

“I brought my son up to know how important respecting women is — he was taught never to raise a hand to a woman,” she says.

“He found himself in this situation where he needed to defend himself against a woman and he didn’t know what to do.

“He said, ‘Mum, if I’d have hit her I’d have been charged with assault. I’d be in jail’.

“I feel waves of relief that he’s home and he’s OK but also anger that she’s got away with it — a $250 fine is ridiculous.”

Ms Johns says her son, a first year law student, was doing really well with his studies but has now “lost all interest”.

“He thinks the system is a joke,” she says.

Ms Fry was working as a real estate property manager before she was fired last week.

10 Steps To Care For Your Hamster (long post!)

1. Do not keep them in pairs. Hamsters are loners - keeping them together often results in stress, fighting, injuries and death. They are very happy alone.

A study also found out that (golden) hamsters need up to 12-36 inches of bedding, so just do your best do give them the highest amount of bedding possible. :)

10. Never ever ever put your hamster or any animal in a hamster ball. 

They can’t get out, might suffocate or panic, might run against furniture and seriously injure themselves. The ventilation is terrible, your hamster can’t see/smell/hear enough or use any of their senses properly.

Even if you think that “your hamster has fun in it” - please don’t use them!

I wish i had a context for this. But I really dont.

I was all ready to “um, actually” this, but, um, actually there’s about 3-4 grams of iron in a person, which x400 is 1.2-1.6kg, which is a smallish but not unreasonable sword. So. Math checks out.

How would you extract the iron, though? The more practical solution would be to kill a mere hundred men, then mix 1 part blood with 3 parts standard molten iron, imo. Cheaper and faster, while still retaining the edge that only evil magic can give you.

Or, you could just make the sword of iron, and then use the blood to temper the blade.

1.2 to 1.6 kilograms is a perfectly reasonable large sword.  Your average longsword was 1.1–1.8 kg and I don’t even remember if that’s including the weight of the hilt, guard, and pommel or just the blade.  Your more classic “knight sword” was a mere 1.1 kilograms on average; the blood of 400 men is more than enough.

This is using the comparatively crappy metallurgy of medieval Europe and their meh iron swords.  Move east to, say, contemporary Iran and make a scimitar using high carbon steel (~2%) for a .75 kilogram blade and you only need the blood of about 225 men.

So putting my thoughts in on this… because how could I not.

So you’ve exsanguinated your 400 guys to get the iron for your sword. Cool. But now you have 400 bodies lying around.

Why not put those to good use and cremate them. Use the carbon from those 400 bodies (you won’t need all of them) and now you can make a nice mid-high carbon steel sword.

Now you have a sword forged with the blood of your enemies AND strengthened with their bones.
