One day Carlotta Suero-Dupain's life was normal - well, mostly. She went to school, hung out with her friends, looked after Klikk, her Kwami, moonlighted as a whale-themed superhero called Cachalotte, studied at her cousin Marinette's house, and offered her own unique support for said cousin's unconfessed crush on one Adrien Agreste.

And then that support caused the world as she knew it to be changed forever.

(In which it turns out that breaking into a guy's house to give him a valentine's poem on behalf of your cousin can have unforeseen consequences that throw you headlong into an existential breakdown. Like discovering that his father is secretly a terrorist who is keeping his wife's corpse in his basement.)

Written for the MWG's February 2023 event, based on the prompt 'Monotonous, ludicrous, supportive, 🦚'. Started out meaning to be a comedy, quickly took a turn into psychological horror, and ended up as an existential crisis.
