I just keep sketching anyway
doesn't matter how bad it looks to you or how hard it seems to draw, sooner or later you'll be back to your normal drawing routine.
you know, (just from my personal experience) this thing usually happens right before you're going to have some changes in your style, technique or something else. you might not really notice it at first, but once you'll want to look at all your drawings in a retrospective, you'll see the change after this moment. so maybe try to get some new source of inspiration, search for some new style, make some experiments (this also might be fun)
otherwise, you might just need some rest. try not to draw for a week or even two if you need it. try to focus on some other things that are important at the moment. then after you feel like it just return to little sketches and try to create something new, even if it doesn't appear the way you'd like it to. just remember it's gonna be fine after all, you only need to overcome the art block, it'll end pretty soon.
every artist I ever knew once in a while faces an art block and there's nothing wrong with it.
since art is my job now, not a hobby, I cannot really allow myself to get into an art block, I've got to draw no matter what. but you know what helps? changing drawing subject regularly. I usually draw characters and backgrounds for the mobile game at work in a very particular style and it's really easy to get tired of it. but the thing that keeps me away from the block is regularly drawing for myself (when I'm not at work, of course) just whatever I want in any style I wish and that's what you see me posting on my dashboard. so when people ask me 'aren't you tired drawing 24/7??' I say that drawing for work and drawing for myself are completely different things. it's a big subject and technique change, so it feels way differently.
there's also a funny thing - I noticed that I've got some sort of a 'default character face' I could draw automatically good no matter what state I'm in - art block or not. so once I feel unmotivated and cannot create anything new I just sketch some default characters. trying to draw them emotions, maybe change the hairstyle a bit, think of their clothes even if it's just a t-shirt and jeans. no plot, no composition, no story, just default characters with some features. also for some reason sketching Loki during the block helps me quite a lot??? idk there's just something about his character design that's easy to transform in any way possible and to experiment, and you know that it's enough to draw those horns on a helmet and it's already understandable that it's him, you don't need to care much about his similarity to the original character and he'll be alike himself no matter how you draw him. what I'm trying to say is - maybe try to search for a character like this as well? it's really helpful once you can find something that turns out equally good in no matter what state you're in.
hope this helps, friend! it's gonna be fine soon and you'll overcome the block 💞
