Hey friends! I’m officially starting this effort in TOMORROW’S stream and lasting for at LEAST 2 weeks! 

Obviously, as I always say, I am never entitled to your support financial or otherwise. But if you can do ANYTHING at all, your consideration is so so so appreciated! 

For full transparency, the minimum I need to make this move happen sits around $15,000. I understand that is not a small amount AT ALL, which is why this is an extended effort on my part. In a case like this though, anything above that will only serve to make this easier, so if we meet that first goal early I will not shy away from raising the goal as much as people are okay with me doing so.

Even if you can’t support directly, spreading the word as these event streams go on would make such a big difference. Y'all are always valued and welcome, regardless of any financial contribution <3

the boys are back

People on Facebook got angry at him and accused him of abusing his cat because he had him in the tub “against his will” not knowing that that breed needs daily batheing to keep their coat healthy and it’s wild. He was just being positive and cute and people were shitting on him.

You don’t need to bathe your cat every day. They do that themselves.

But once or twice every few months is okay to my understanding

Ravioli is a cornish rex, meaning he doesnt have fur, only “down”. cornish rexes lack the guard hairs that repel dust, allergens, grime etc and need to be fully bathed at least once every 7 days & wiped with a warm washcloth 1-2 times daily, more if the house the cat lives in is particularly dusty or has lots of airborne pathogens. it’s the same with Sphynx (hairless) cats, which iAmMoshow (the guy in the vid) also owns! iirc he has two sphynxes, ravioli, and a standard domestic shorthair. he knows what hes doing!

Sometimes… pets don’t know what’s best for them!

but even if the cat didn’t need it, set aside that it does, why would you see this man bathing his pet and being soft and gentle and telling kitty I love you…and think this is animal abuse? like ??

i got this pop up and cried out in agony

i rly dont like the mindset that all lgbt people want is to be “accepted” and that all out community is about it “inclusion”. no. we want access to trans health care. we want anti discrimination laws for housing and employment. we want marriage equality. we want to stop trans kids from being forced to go by their dead name at school. we want to abolish the gay/trans panic defense. we want to stop corrective rape. we want black trans women to stop being murdered. being “accepted” by cishets isnt the goal, and neither is being an all-inclusive club. i want to be able to live my life freely as an lgbt person. our community was created out of the need to survive. that has nothing to do with being “valid”. 

suddenly remembered this poem as i was making breakfast this morning & frantically googled “poem remembered to buy eggs?????????” & somehow managed to find it & it utterly knocked the wind out of me just as much as when i first read it
