Tsukiuta Fanbook Project
UPDATE: We’re now doing pages for the girls too! Thanks for all of the support everyone! Spots for girls are still open!
Calling all Tsukiuta fans! A small group of us are planning to make a fanbook for the Tsukiuta men this summer! We are looking for artists willing to do a full page illustration for one of the guys, with a total of 12 illustrations, one for each month.
We are still in the planning phases but here is what we have in mind so far:
- 8 pages (12 pieces) (plus covers) double sided, full colour, full bleed, approximately 8″x10″. Definitely willing to do more pages if we get enough artists!
- We will be doing the male months only for this book, with one page for each month. Additional pages are for credits and contact info of the artists. If we get enough artists, we plan on each artist doing one full-page piece.
- Extras are planned to be given to those who pre-order the fanbook. Possibly a sticker sheet with the female months and managers.
- No skill level is required for artists. We only ask that you put a decent amount of effort into the piece and submit it within the to-be-determined deadline. If we get enough interest where we can’t take on all artists, we will let everyone know.
- Profits from sales will be distributed evenly and fairly among artists.
Q: I’m just getting into Tsukiuta, can I still participate? A: Yes absolutely! Everyone is welcome!
Q: I want to draw [X character], can you guarantee I’ll be able to do their page? A: We will try to accommodate as many people as we can, but it’s unlikely everyone will be able to do their most preferred character. For now, we’re going with a first-come-first-serve basis. If you have a top 3 in mind, we’ll try our best to help everyone get a character they like! If you’re interested in drawing the girls and managers for the extras but don’t want to do a page, that’s also fine! Please let us know!
Q: When is the deadline for artists and their art? A: We want to release the fanbook in late summer or fall, so hopefully we can get enough artists by the end of April. Art should be completed by the end of July to allow for the pre-order period, file set-up, printing, packaging and finally shipping in September or October.

If you want to be notified when the book goes up for pre-order, in that case you can also send a quick message to [email protected] and I’ll put you on the mailing list! (We won’t contact you for anything but the pre-order release.)
Pre-orders are planned for August into September, and there is no guarantee of any copies being available after pre-orders close, so please look forward to the announcement!
