Thank you so much, my friend!!!

To tell you the truth, most of it comes from my outlines. I have become a HUGE outline person when it comes to my stories. I used to fly on the edge of my seat, and I'm still suffering a little bit for that - it just doesn't work for me, you know???

I try to break down my outlines by chapter, and when I reach the end of what I've outlined for that chapter, it usually wraps up pretty well. Sometimes I need to push off certain plot points, or add some in, but my general rule of thumb looks like this:

  • Did I accomplish telling the "story" of that chapter?

And if the answer is yes, then I can move on. I look at my chapters as little arcs throughout the bigger story.

I am going to preface this with: I love any and all feedback - from simple kudos to a long comment. Now, my actual answer.
The unhinged commentary. Yelling, keysmashing, those that highlight their favorite parts of the chapter/story so I know what exactly it was they liked about it, etc.

🌈is there a fic that you worked *really fucking hard on* that no one would ever know? maybe a scene/theme you struggled with?

Hmmm. I know I really struggled with both "Bookbinder//Songwriter" and "Where The Shadows Lie" early on, as I was NOT modern au savvy at all. In fact, it still makes me nervous, but I have grown more comfortable with them.
I struggle hard with battle scenes, and playing with characters I'm not used to messing with. But yes, battle scenes definitely....which is my current bane haha.
