-Pharma didn’t hate Delphi before the incident with the DJD.

-Pharma and Ambulon had a mutual, begrudging respect for each other.

-When Pharma was stationed at Delphi, he was a grump and missed Ratchet.

-The grey Autobot symbols represent grieving. Wonder what Pharma was grieving then?

-Tarnma is absolutely not canon.

-Pharma liked Ratchet, but Ratchet was too much of a dumbass to notice or realize.

-Before he cracked during the Delphi arc, Pharma still felt bad about the things he had done (Taking T-cogs, killing patients, etc).

So I completely forgot until my reread that there is a half decent chance that Pharma having a grey autobrand is deliberate, even though in-comic it wouldn’t be explained for like. Years.

I assume he has it as an indicator that for all his bluffing, he does feel guilty about what he’s done. (As Remain in Light will also show us.)

This also makes it pretty likely my longstanding assumption that Rewind’s is grey on purpose (mourning Dominus) and not just as a design decision that happened to retroactively work not unlikely, I think. Two characters where it fits makes it feel likely to be deliberate to me.
