Having "a lot" of followers on tumblr is funny because probably 80% of them are ghost blogs who haven't been on here in like a decade.

one of my favourite, underappreciated things about the tumblr gifmaking scene is just how personal it all is — to the point that i can often tell who a set’s by before i even glance at the name. every gifmaker has their own style: the colouring, the character pairings, the blended layers, the concepts, the fonts, the fandoms. even the caption style. i’m so grateful to get to know you all better through your work; tumblr would surely fall into obsoletion without you. 💜
