I can’t wait to get to finishing songs for this album I’m writing.
I’m working with a good friend who does production to both mix it and help fill out the sound with synthetic instruments while I record all the acoustic instruments and vocals and do the writing. It’s going to be a sorta indie, singer-songwriter acoustic thing with electronic elements hopefully. We’re both new to this.
It’s entirely inspired by Night in the Woods too! Each song (save for the intro and outro) is about a certain character while still keeping it vague enough where you can enjoy the songs on a personal level. Plus pretty much EVERY important character had something I could connect to personally so I focused on those aspects of them.
It’s gonna have 10 songs on it. I have a tracklisting of songs already and like most of them are written already! When I can finally get to finishing it up (which will probably be a while, cause my friend needs to get his computer back up and running with all the software he had) it’ll be posted on a bandcamp page.
The album is called The Death of Small Town and the tracklist (and associated characters) so far is this:

Either way I’m looking forward to releasing it later on hopefully this year or early next year and hopefully looking forward to doing more work with my friend and maybe make a project out of this.
