I love doing simple doodles with the binary tool I’m gonna try to do stuff like this more often so I have stuff to post between the longer stretches it takes for me to do bigger pieces and of course the comic.

I just barely made it for cutie saturday on twitter! Had this dumb idea in my head for awhile and I wasn’t gonna do a full color of it but here we are. Ani thinks YOU’RE cute but most importantly…she thinks SHE’S cute.

🖊 Vahn, he doesn't get enough love
Oh Vahn...he really doesn’tVahn is a good boy. He’s come to represent me in more ways than I originally thought. He’s a lot more serious than I am, but his apprehension and self-consciousness and anxiety...all of that is me.
He’s a character I’m super excited to develop more but sadly will get the bulk of his development in the latter half of the story.I think a lot of people pegged him as Ani’s “love interest” when really that was never the intention too. I’m excited to show why that is later too...as clearly Kveikur has proven he’s willing to try to coax two members of a species into “procreating” in order to save an entire species (gently of course. Kveikur’s not a terrible person haha)
All in all, I like him a lot. He deserves more attention than he gets. I really should draw him more...
