So it seems they are keeping him an extra night and trying new meds. This means $300 more plus an $85 for the new meds. They have NOT done surgery, and I guess this $1,700 plus was just to put a tube in him and medicine? I have no idea if this is standard practice to help clean out the crystals becoming blocked inside and keeping a cat from urinating. So if they do need to do surgery, it's going to cost more. If anyone is familiar with this procedure, can you tell me if this is standard price and practice? The doctor said they did surgery when we were face to face. The nurse is saying something different.
