May 11th, 2022: Congratulations are in order! Katsuki (勝貴) of Daimonji (大文字) in Kamishichiken has turned her collar and become a geiko! She is the first erikae for Kamishichiken since 2020 and is a sign that they’re bouncing back from the pandemic. Her kimono is simple with weeping willows, a known symbol of the geiko profession, but very apt as it represents flexibility, strength, and beauty ^^ おめでとうさんどす勝貴さん ^o^!
