Mitch and Jamie “Well, that wasn’t supposed to happen.” Friendship or romance, your pick!
It’s his own fault; he knows how important this mission is, and how much is at stake, but he let himself get distracted by the smiles she kept giving him as they worked. Now, they’re alone in the lab, with only a single door between them and a vicious army of koalas (and frankly, he just finds that a bit unfair; lions and bats are one thing, but koalas don’t deserve this).
If he’d been paying closer attention, he would have noticed them breaking past the outer security of the building, but now, there’s nothing left to do but wait, and hope they go away.
He steps between her and the door on instinct, ready to protect her for as long as he can, but the floor isn’t as even as expected; he stumbles forward, scrambling for purchase on the only thing within reach (too late, he realizes it’s the fire alarm).
Ringing fills the air, and the sprinklers above them cut on, soaking them on the spot; on the bright side, he can’t imagine that the koalas are loving it, either.
Sheepishly, he turns to her, clearing his throat. “Well, that wasn’t supposed to happen.”
Send me a character or a ship and I’ll give you a headcanon for them

Zoo is a very weird show and I will be kidnapping the characters for many AUs as soon as I finish it.

this looks fun
1.) Give me a pairing. 2.) Give me a prompt. 3.) I will write you a three-sentence fic.
“Please don’t use the ants as a defibrillator.” - A thing I never thought I’d have to say, even to a TV show.
Enjoy these extremely poor-quality photos of the moment that broke me into a million pieces.
Me: I need to go do schoolwork. I've wasted most of the day.
Also me: I could rewatch the Mitch/Jamie reunion 5,000 times and cry about it. Hm.
Why is this so funny to me?
I started watching Zoo because I thought it was based off a Stephen King book, and after Haven, I thought that was promising.
It was apparently based off a James Patterson book.
If I had known that, I probably wouldn’t have started watching.
No regrets, though.
Abraham calling Mitch out for acting like he was the only one upset about Jamie=The content I'm here for.
Me for most of Season One of Zoo: I don't really know if I ship Jamie and Mitch or not. She definitely brings out a very enjoyable side of him, and they have a good dynamic, but I don't know if I ship it romantically or not.
Me during the leopard episode of Season One: Okay, yeah, I'm totally shipping this.
Me at almost the end of the leopard episode: AW YES I'M TOTALLY OKAY WITH THIS!
Me at the actual end of the leopard episode: WAIT WHAT HOW D A R E -
Me every episode since: Wow I can't believe that Jamie and Mitch are soulmates and he's going to tear the world apart to get her back.
