... To read. Real talk? Actually writing it is tricky for me. It’s hard for me to make two characters go from enemies to in love. I wish I could, and I’ve obviously written Garcy, but most of that is either from Flynn’s perspective, or Lucy’s after she stops seeing Flynn as the enemy. 

But yes, I’m going to go with Garcy for this one.

I love the soulmate trope when it’s done right, and I’ve actually written for it before, though not for that particular variation. But yes, there’s a very good chance I’d write for it again. 

A Duke/Audrey story would be fascinating with the “first words” idea, because he would definitely know that they were soulmates, but she probably wouldn’t put it together; “Good morning” is a pretty neutral statement, after all. 

It would also be interesting in a Garcy AU, because it would make things complicated. Would it be the first words Flynn said to Lucy and visa versa, or the first words Lucy heard from Flynn and visa versa? 

Ie, who would have the words from Brazil, and who would have the words from the Hindenburg? Either way, I’m totally here for this AU.

Lucy's awesome, but Jiya was just a Soft Bean who didn't even really know a war was going on until her boyfriend was asking her to betray everything she knew without really explaining why, and she went through SO MUCH...
