I’ve been struggling with finding time and motivation to even get started. Part of me wants to do one long story, 28 chapters for 28 days. The rest of me isn’t as confident.
I honestly dunno what to do. I had even drawn up a “table of contents” and everything.
I dunno, maybe I should just do smaller, individual stories and shelve the long fic for another time.
i think it doesn't matter if you fail. it matters that you tried something ambitious and wanted to stretch yourself creatively and you gave it a shot.
it doesn't matter if you don't get the fic finished during the month or even at all, so long as it's something you want to write. push yourself and go for it. start wherever you want in the story - the beginning doesn't always have to be the first thing you write - and just try
