Captain Canary, "Give it back!"

Avatar

"Give it back!"

In a truly juvenile move, Len swoops his arm away and spin his back to Sara as she lunges for the small object she had willingly handed to him.

Then he made the mistake of opening his big mouth.

Though in his defense, she wasn't going to come to a decision on her own.

She showed up at his door two minutes ago. With a pregnancy test in one hand and a timer counting down in the other.

"I can't look." She had said, and numbly he took both items from her hands. Then the timer hit zero, and before he dared to look at the test she'd asked him to give it back, that she wanted to do it.

Then she changed her mind.

Then she changed her mind again.

And now, well, here they are.

Lauliver, "Would it be too sappy to say I wished for you?"

Avatar

"Would it be too sappy to say I wished for you?"

Laurel smiles, a smile Oliver came to know very, very well throughout his life. That sad, wistful smile accompanied by her hand reaching up to his jaw.

"I know you did."

It's strange. He can't feel her, not really. They're dead, so they have no physical touch. But he can feel her warmth. He can feel the calm he always had around her, even in their worst moments.

"Why didn't you go?"

She sighs, "Because you wouldn't be there." She says, "And I told you before, you were the love of my life."

Arrowverse in the ATLA universe AU?

Avatar

(SQUEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! This is going to be 10 facts because I have too many ideas!!!)

1. Each of the shows is set in within a different nation. Star City is the Fire Nation Capitol, National City is a major city in the Earth Kingdom, Central City is the main hub of the Northern Water Tribe, and the Legends are a group of Air Nomads (with a few friends thrown in, but we’ll get to that).

2. So the Legends. Rip, though a bit grumpy for an air bender (something that is constantly pointed out to him), was originally the leader of their little traveling group, along with Gideon. Also air benders are Behrad and the two Zari’s, Nate, Amaya, Kendra and Carter, Charlie, Gary, and of course, Mona. Leonard is a water bender originally from the Southern Water Tribe, and Mick is also from the Southern Tribe, though he is a non-bender. After the two of them were banished from Central they tried robbing Rip and his friends and instead ended up part of the group.

3. Sara and Ray are fire benders, originally from Star City. After being thought dead for a year and literally no one coming to rescue him as he was held captive by Damian Darhk Ray decided to leave the Fire Nation in search of a more peaceful life. Sara didn’t know him very well but she went with him, tired of the violence and brainwashing in the fire nation. At some point their paths crossed with Rip’s and they never left his little nomadic group, and Sara may have had a good amount to do with Leonard deciding to stay.

4. Oliver is the Prince of the Fire Nation and heir to the throne. Quentin is one of the top Generals and a longtime friend to Fire Lord Robert Queen. As such his oldest daughter Laurel is betrothed to Oliver. She and Oliver have mixed feelings about it.

5. The world is being threatened by The Legion. It’s members consist of Chief Eobard Thawne and Lewis Snart from The Southern Water Tribe, and Damien Darhk and Malcolm Merlin from the Fire Nation.

6. Over in the Earth Kingdom Alex is the leader of the Kyoshi Warriors. Kara is an air bender, she had been born in the Earth Kingdom while her family had been traveling but her parents were killed in a raid by followers of The Legion. Her and her cousin Kal were taken in by two farmers, the Kents. Alex lived up the road and Kara always thought she was the coolest thing ever and would follow her everywhere.

7. Joe West is Chief of the Northern Water Tribe and currently opposing Chief Thawne of the Southern Tribe who wants Iris to marry his son Eddie. Barry was still raised by him after his father wrongfully went to prison for the murder of his mother and he, Cisco, Caitlin, Frost, Ralph, and Wells keep close tabs on the politics of the world and are preparing for the possibility of war. Barry, Frost, Caitlin, and Ralph are all water benders. Frost and Caitlin are easily the more advanced, though Caitlin focuses her skills more on healing while Frost is better versed in fighting.

8. Of course we have an Avatar; Gideon. She’s native to the Air Nation and is traveling with Rip and their friends. She’s mastered air bending and is learning water bending from Leonard. They’re hoping that by the time they get to the Earth Kingdom she’ll have mastered water bending.

9. Leonard isn’t always the most patient teacher, and that’s where Sara comes in. She has a better head for teaching and at first sits in on Leonard’s sessions with Gideon.

10. The Legion’s plan is to first take control of both the Water Tribes as well as the Fire Nation, and then once that’s accomplished invade and take control of the Earth Kingdom. Since the Air Nation’s people are mostly nomadic and don’t all live at the four temples year round they are the least threat, especially since they have no formalized military.

Mixen+Firefighter AU?

Avatar

1. Amaya is the newest hire at the Central City Fire Station. She already knows Sara from the fire academy and fits in quickly.  Mick and Len have worked there for years, the entire fire house has a bet going on when Sara and Len will end up together.

2. Amaya has Esi in this AU. Right before her first set of overnight shifts she brings Esi with her to the fire house to wait for her mother to come pick her up for the next few days. Esi is only three and very friendly, she connects with Mick right away and Mick goes down the fire pole holding her.

3. Amaya has trouble sleeping the first night and goes down into the garage to work out. Mick finds her and holds the punching bag steady. After they’re worn out they start talking. Amaya tells him that Esi’s father is long out of the picture and she isn’t sure if she should’ve gone through with becoming a firefighter or if she should’ve looked for a safer job for Esi. Mick tells her there are going to be risks in life no matter what, so at least this way when Esi grows up she can look her in the eyes and tell her she didn’t settle.

4. There is an annual fundraiser the fire and police departments put on and Amaya has some art skills so she gets volunteered to do the kid’s face painting station. Before the fundraiser Mick lets her practice on him, though not on his face. Instead she paints vines and flowers along the edges of his burns.

5. The house Mick grew up in and burned as a teenager has stood vacant and decaying ever since. Finally it’s scheduled for demolition and the night before it’s set to be torn down Mick doesn’t show up for work. Amaya finds him standing outside of the house, looking up at it. She waits for him to finish and after he does he asks her what she’s going to tell the others. She tells him she’s going to say she couldn’t find him.

Caitlin/Cisco Pirates AU

Avatar

1. Cisco is a cabin boy. He’s grown up on Captain Well’s ship, almost with Frost (nicknamed for her cold attitude and the glare she’s been known to give.) She joined the crew when they were barely thirteen, and frankly Cisco has never been sure if she joined freely or if she was leveraged as part of a ransom that never got paid.

2. Now, as adults, the ship is docked in London and Frost is in more of a mood than usual. Cisco doesn’t understand it, until he joins Ralph in trying to make a score at a nobleman’s party and runs into someone who is the spitting image of Frost, except with darker hair. Caitlin.

3. Cisco chokes when he first meets Caitlin, and about two seconds later Ralph is caught stealing. The two of them are chased out of the party and Caitlin follows. It isn’t until they’re back at the ship that Cisco and Ralph realize Caitlin is still with them.

4. What Ralph was caught stealing was some of Caitlin’s jewelry, and she would like it back. Ralph refuses, Cisco pleads with him to just return it, and while the three of them are arguing Frost finds them. The whole thing spills out then that Frost ran away on the ship when it was docked in London all those years ago. She and Caitlin are twins and daughters of a nobleman. Frost wanted to escape the politics and having her life planned out for her.

5. For the next few days the ship stays in London, and Caitlin sneaks away from home to visit and try and convince her sister to return. However she ends up spending most of her time with Cisco, hearing about his adventures at sea, and when the ship leaves London she’s on board.

Laurel/Oliver Cooking Competition AU?

Avatar

1. Laurel and Oliver were partners a long time ago. Oliver inherited Verdant, an upscale restaurant, from his parents and since he and Laurel were dating at the time he took ownership, and she is the one with a business degree, he signed her on as his partner. Unfortunately Oliver’s immaturity eventually led not only to them breaking up, but Verdant failing.

2. Oliver is in the competition after completing culinary school. He wants to use the prize money to reopen Verdant. Laurel is competing because while she was Oliver’s partner she realized how much she loved owning a restaurant. She loved the challenges, how close the staff can get, and she wants to open her own place with a more family style feel. She’s been saving up, but the prize money would put her over the amount she needs.

3. When Laurel doesn’t get sent home in the first two weeks Oliver corners her in the dorms and demands to know why she’s on this show, of all competition shows she could’ve gone on, especially considering she isn’t even a chef. Laurel tells him she’s applied for other shows, but this was the only one to let her on.

4. Viewers start picking up on the tension between Oliver and Laurel and they become a ship, Sara and Thea spend a lot of time monitoring the internet and the popularity of the ship tag for their siblings. They have mixed feelings about it.

5. Laurel ends up placing fourth in the total competition, Oliver ends up winning. He approaches Laurel later about restarting their partnership, saying she’s always been the one with the vision, and that’s why he knew he had to learn to cook. Otherwise, he’d be useless to Verdant.

VisionVibe + where have you been for the past two months?

(I think this is Jiya and Cisco? But please correct me if I’m wrong anon.)

“Where have you been for the past two months?” Jiya demanded.

“Hello, crisis? Of infinite earths?” Cisco looked around. “What, did that not happen here either?”

Jiya shrugged. “I didn’t see anything. Was it big?”

Cisco sighed and took a seat next to her. “It was catastrophic. I need a vacation.”

Without the Flash

Can we take a minute to talk about how interesting the TV show ‘The Flash’ would be without, well, the Flash?

Barry could still be the star, but without powers: Just an ordinary CSI... Working in Central City after the Particle Accelerator exploded.

Can you imagine how weird a job that would be?

He could still work with Star Labs, giving us that Cisco and Caitlin connection, and they could either have their powers or not. Either would make an interesting story.

Barry was kind of a brilliant CSI, not that we get to see much of that side of him anymore.

A show about him trying to understand meta-humans, trying to figure out how to help them, and trying to figure out how to deal with them legally. (As opposed to keeping them locked up in a really sketchy underground prison.)

StarGlider + Roleswap AU

I haven't been part of either of these fandoms in a LONG time, so we'll see how this goes!

1. Instead of being taken to space, young Peter Quill is adopted by a family that seems nice on the surface, but he quickly realizes that they aren't what they appear. Abuse is common in that household, and he cannot find a way out. When the father teaches him to steal, he has no choice but to obey.

2. Lisa Snart barely remembers her father. When she was young, he disappeared, and her mother sent her and her brother away with a strange blue man named Yondu, to keep them safe from the man who was coming to kill her. ("Vandal Savage," she whispered, and Lisa can still hear the fear in her voice.) Now, she and her brother are space pirates, taught by the greatest space pirates alive: The Ravagers. But Lisa has never given up hope of finding her parents once more.

3. The robbery of Star Labs is supposed to be routine, but Peter can't resist taking just one gun. The one that turns things to gold really seems to fit the bill for him. He calls himself Golden Shot, and embraces his supervillain lifestyle. In the back of his mind, he remembers that he once dreamed of being a hero, but those days seem long past. Until a woman shows up on his doorstep with wings, of all things, and a desperate plea: Help me find my daughter. (And no, reincarnation isn't exactly on the list of things he wants to get involved in, but he's a little too scared of her to say no.)

4. The first meeting... Doesn't go well, to say the least. Lisa and Leonard think that Peter is trying to hijack their heist, (Which quite frankly, he was, but he was also trying to reunite them with their mother, and it would be nice if they focused on that part.) And nearly kill him on the spot. He barely escapes, with a pretty cut across his forehead to show for it. (Later, when they figure out he's sincere, Lisa offers to kiss it better, a half-smirk on her face, and he grins back. This, he realizes, is going to be fun.)

5. Unfortunately, the happy family reunion is cut short. Lisa and Leonard aren't the only ones who want to find this new incarnation of the woman known as Chey-ara. So does Vandal Savage... And Lewis Snart, a being more myth than reality. (He also might just be a planet. Peter prefers not to think about that.) Now, they've found her. Peter, Kendra, and the Snart siblings will have to stand against some of the most terrfying forces in history if they want to get out of this alive. Luckily, they have a few space pirates willing to back them up.

Thanks for the ask! I hope you enjoyed!
