I am an autism activist. I say what I think, and I mean what I say. Any knowledge and experiences I have, I share. This information is based on just that--16 years of my life with my family and autism. To Me? "Puzzle pieces are about people being DIFFERENT. Period." And NO I don't light it up blue.

WOW. Answered a question on a support group for autism moms--it was why you don't care for autism speaks. I answered they want to eradicate autism. They think its a disease. And light it up blue does nothing for my boy but hurt his eyes. GOT SLAMMED. No opinion there. Only "twit" and "get the facts straight". So many stupid and ignorant autism moms out there. And no support. Nasty people who judge others -- ironic how THEY judge others' opinions. Left the group.
