@szors - More about lilies! Death & rebirth.

I found my other lily post! It was actually about that exact brooch before we could see the detail, because the origins of the heart-shape? Comes from the leaves to the water-lily. I talked a little bit about the interesting-to-me parallel of the gold scarab brooch Kurt wore in 4x01 and this silver heart brooch he wears in 5x01.

6. Favourite episode from each season

I’m really bad at picking favorite things, because there are different favorites depending on different metrics. I’ll try.

  • S1: “Ballad” for the scene between Kurt & Finn in the basement where Finn’s asked for Kurt’s help. Especially: “It’s stupid…”/”It’s not stupid”.
  • S2: I love so much in S2. This is super super hard, but I’ll go with “Never Been Kissed” for the running down the hallway scene which is still an absolute favorite moment for me in Glee overall.
  • S3: “Hold on to Sixteen” for seeing Blaine as his own character, powerful in his own right. I mean, the ND performances left me breathless, they were so polished and there was no spotlight hogging, and you can see his influence all over it.
  • S4: I can’t choose between “Dynamic Duets” (Blaine story! Blam!) and “I Do” (Emma! Kurt & Blaine’s everything.)

7. What surprised you the most?

I’m with Mults. “I didn’t get in.” I had so completely expected that Kurt would get into NYADA and Rachel wouldn’t, I just… D:

19. 5 top emotional moments connected to Glee

  1. Kurt in “Grilled Cheesus” I can’t pinpoint just one moment.
  2. The performance of “Somewhere Only We Know” in “Born This Way”. Bittersweet is a nice flavor.
  3. “I didn’t get in” in “Goodbye”. Yeah. :(
  4. “Glee Actually” Burt telling Kurt he has cancer. Big time trauma.
  5. “I Do” when we all were so happily surprised, even with the spoilers we’d had. Yay Happy Glee!

Ah. thank you. I looked at the UHQ original again, and you're right. The pocket square looks more like black & white pindot, definitely not a pocketful of condoms.
