I don’t know what to say… i know the fundraising landscape has changed rapidly ever since this october, since we’ve hit the one year mark of the u.s.-funded Palestinian genocide, since the u.s. election, but it still feels like a slap to the face to see Mohammed Ayesh’s fundraiser (@ayeshjourney) stagnate like this, especially since he dedicated months of his life to traveling to where families are to talk with them and verify them face to face.

Mohammed has stopped being online as much for health reasons (chronic lung spasms and more from his health care work) but also because he feels as if he is speaking to an uncaring crowd. People who have once promised him they will check in and boost his fundraiser has stopped responding, and so he withdrew because he did not want to be a burden.

I want to ask you all for your help. A few campaigns are doing exceptionally well because they are boosted daily by blogs with huge followings. Many families like Ayesh’s do not have this privilege.

Our protagonists, model minority robot, and nice cop, must work together to ensure that Senator Racism is not elected. And guess what? They are lesbians.

Model Minority Robot is childhood best friends with Terrorist Robot, who is sympathetic but goes too far and is a villain now.

Nice Cop looks up to Older Cop, who is eventually revealed to be Very Racist, or corrupt. There is a scene where Nice Cop says racism is bad and walks away from something dramatically. Nothing fundamentally changes.

don't forget the part where they reveal that the reason the robots are discriminated against in the first place is because it turned out they were all built with a defect that makes them turn violent which explains why they all started rioting instead of voting or peacefully protesting, thereby justifying Senator Racism's racism and leaving Model Minority Robot with a moral dilemma: do you continue to fight for the robots' liberation even though they might kill some people (and killing people is wrong!), or do you give an impassioned speech about how we should all forgive each other and be friends and stop fighting so that we can go back to the status quo? Also the first option will definitely include a scene comparing Model Minority Robot to Terrorist Robot and how killing makes you just as bad as the oppressors.

It is important that when you are critiquing liberalism, you do not yourself fall into liberalism. Yes, criticize liberals for having an idealist worldview, for having an immature and ahistorical view of revolution, for failing to understand proper political strategy and tactics, but in doing so do not yourself chalk up these errors to some failure of morality or culture! As Marxists we know that morality and culture are built upon the material basis of society - to treat your own morality and culture as somehow beyond this is itself a form of liberal idealism. We cannot help but reflect bourgeois morals and culture, as bourgeois morals and culture are the dominant form of morals and culture in the world today, and when you attempt to make a critique through the lens of morality, if you unironically describe something as "decadent", you're not really critiquing bourgeois morality or culture, you're merely presenting the mirror image of the particular formation of bourgeois morality and culture you are trying to criticize. Accusations of "decadence" in particular have long been made by the bourgeoise - we often hear the idea that Rome fell because its rulers became "too decadent." But that is not why Rome fell, and we know that, and as Marxists we must know better than to repeat these bourgeois moralisms, to engage in liberalism in this way.
