Curufin and Ancalimon during the Bragollach retreat, en route to stir up trouble in Nargothrond. (I intended this for @tolkienocweek but didn't finish in time)
Birthday art request featuring Sauron.
My darling @i-gwarth and the astonishing Wub conspired to deliver me this unparalleled creation for my very own birthday. Look at him. Look at my man. I'd need to climb for three days with ropes and a team of skilled mountaineers just to reach his dick. He's beautiful. He's ten feet thick of chest. He's pondering the great calamities of time and hubris that he has witnessed across eons. He could smash me so hard my carbon components turned to diamond.
This took way too long to finish... (began in October...)
The Ibizan hound is a hunting hound, known for its speed, agility, and adaptability, representing power and resilience, making it an emblem of determination and perseverance. Here it´s lying down with its tail tugged under it and glances up.
The Pharaoh hound is also a hunting hound, used more for small game and hard terrain, it symbolizes a trustworthy companion and shows that justice will fall on those who deserve it. Here it´s looking oblivious to the side joining Miriel in her naivety.
Dogs in ancient Egypt were often associated with the afterlife through Anubis and were thought to act as companions and guides to humans in the afterlife. Both the Ibizan and Pharaoh hounds are rare breeds.

Can I interest you in a slightly awful Maia that needs his wife to keep him in line?
We know the Ainur can make themselves appear however they want and I think I've kind of created a headcannon that the Valar choose to present themselves more often similar to to Elves or sometimes Men (especially while dealing directly with them), but I think the Maiar just kind of go kind of wild with it.
Super excited to finally reveal my contribution for this year’s @tolkienrsb!
@foxleycrow and myself decided to take a look at Eöl’s story and Maeglin’s upbringing through the perspective of their own culture. Here I tried to depict one of the most significant moments in Maeglin’s life - his naming ceremony, a part of his coming of age rites.
Perhaps there are other parts of their story that did not make it into Noldorin chronicles?
