A theory about The Legend of Zelda Tears of the kingdom.
Ten thousand years ago there were Ganondorf, triforce of strength, and Zelda, triforce of wisdom, who fought against Ganon. The hero, wielder of the Master Sword and wielder of the triforce of courage, has not appeared (and it would not be the first time, see the prologue of Wind Waker). Ganondorf and Zelda tried to fight him with their own strength but the curse manifested itself and Ganondorf was possessed. At that point the ancient Zelda, together with the Zonai, have sealed Ganondorf pending a solution to the curse.
